Regular Season Round 95: San Antonio S. - Toronto R. 106-110

An exciting game was played in San Antonio. First ranked Raptors faced 4th placed Spurs. Guests from Toronto (32-14) defeated host Spurs (20-25) 110-106. Raptors looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. The best player for the winners was Cameroonian forward Pascal Siakam (206-94, college: N.Mexico St.) who scored 35 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds. Congolese-Spanish power forward Serge Ibaka (208-89) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Swingman DeMar DeRozan (201-89, college: USC) produced 14 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Derrick White (196-94, college: Colorado) added 14 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Four Raptors and five Spurs players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Raptors have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 32-14 record. Loser Spurs keep the fourth position with 25 games lost. Raptors will have a break next day. Spurs will play on the road against Bulls (#3) in Chicago and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
