Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Zagreb: Cedevita Jr. (#6) and Sesvete (#11). Cedevita Jr. (7-6) crushed visiting Sesvete (3-9) by 20 points 81-61. Cedevita Jr. made 18-of-22 charity shots (81.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Sesvete turnovers and outrebounded them 41-23 including a 28-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. 25 personal fouls committed by Sesvete helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Center Matej Bosnjak (204-2) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Forward David Usic (205-93, college: Florida Tech) chipped in 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Dario Papak produced 17 points and 8 rebounds and forward Filip Tusek (196-91) added 17 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Cedevita Jr. have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Omis-Cagalj T. and Samobor. Newly promoted Sesvete keeps the eleventh position with nine games lost. Cedevita Jr.'s next round opponent will be league's leader Jazine in Zadar and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sesvete will play at home against Zaprude (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
