Regular Season Round 96: OKC Thunder - Dallas M. 97-107

An interesting game for Mavericks (29-17) which played road game in Oklahoma City against 3rd ranked Thunder (28-20). First ranked Mavericks managed to get a 10-point victory 107-97. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Thunder. Mavericks players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Slovenian guard Luka Doncic (201-99) who had a double-double by scoring 29 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Delon Wright (196-92, college: Utah) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Mavericks players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was German-Gambian point guard Dennis Schroeder (181-93) who recorded 21 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and Canadian point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (198-98, college: Kentucky) added 16 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Thunder's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Mavericks maintains first position with 29-17 record, which they share with Houston R. Thunder at the other side keeps the third place with 20 games lost. Mavericks' next day opponent will be Suns (#3) in Phoenix, which may be the game of the day.
