Regular Season Round 19: Mogi - Cearense 78-73

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Mogi (13-5) beat 14th ranked SKY/Basquete (4-15) in Mogi das Cruzes 78-73 on Monday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. It was a very good performance for the former international Andre Bresolin (195-87) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international point guard Fulvio de-Assis (188-81) contributed with 17 points and 6 assists for the winners. Four Mogi players scored in double figures. Mogi's coach Jorge Guerra used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American point guard Dontrell Brite (175-94, college: Mount Olive) answered with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Sualisson Da-Silva (195-92) added 17 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for SKY/Basquete. Mogi moved-up to second place, which they share with Franca. SKY/Basquete lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the fourteenth position with 15 games lost. Mogi will face UniFacisa (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. SKY/Basquete will play against the league's leader Flamengo (#1) in Rio de Janeiro and hope to win that game.
