The game in Minnesota was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Kings (17-29) played at the court of 5th ranked Timberwolves (15-32). Kings managed to secure a 4-point victory 133-129 on Monday. Kings made 27-of-34 free shots (79.4 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Timberwolves turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Kings made 8 blocks. Timberwolves were plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for Bahamas guard Buddy Hield (193-93, college: Oklahoma) who led his team to a victory with 42 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds. Serbian Nemanja Bjelica (209-88) contributed with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Canadian guard Andrew Wiggins (203-95, college: Kansas) replied with 36 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 8 assists and Dominican-American power forward Karl-Anthony Towns (213-95, college: Kentucky) added 23 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Timberwolves. Five Kings and four Timberwolves players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Kings maintains fourth position with 17-29 record. Timberwolves lost tenth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 32 games lost.
