Very expected game when 14th ranked Hasharon (2-13) lost on the road to ninth ranked Ironi Ashkelon (7-8) 85-78. 25 personal fouls committed by Hasharon helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American point guard Paul Delaney (188-86, college: UAB) who scored 13 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. American-Armenian forward Arizona Reid (196-86, college: High Point) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. Five Ironi Ashkelon players scored in double figures.
