An interesting game was also a 17-point surprising road defeat of 5th ranked H.Galilee in a game in Hod Hasharon versus Hasharon (#8) 92-75. Hasharon looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Puerto Rican-American point guard TreVon Hughes (185-87, college: Wisconsin) who led the winners and scored 28 points and 8 assists. Power forward Yariv Amiram (204-94) accounted for 22 points and 5 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Five Hasharon players scored in double figures. American forward Wayne Langston (201-93, college: Murray St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 19 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and point guard Roi Huber (188-97) added 21 points respectively for H.Galilee in the defeat. Hasharon maintains eighth place with 7-8 record, which they share with Ashkelon. Loser H.Galilee dropped to the seventh position with seven games lost. Hasharon will meet Hapoel H/M (#13) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. H.Galilee will play against Kiryat Motzkin (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
