Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Helsinki: MuKi (#2) and Sykki (#8). MuKi (9-2) won against visiting Sykki (3-8) 83-69. The game was mostly controlled by MuKi. Sykki was better in fourth quarter 25-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. MuKi forced 20 Sykki turnovers. The winners were led by guard Nikolas Gustavson (193-1) who scored that evening 22 points and 8 rebounds and forward Tony Rautiainen (194-1) supported him with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four MuKi players scored in double figures. Even 28 points and 7 rebounds by forward Cristian Ahokas (202-1) did not help to save the game for Sykki. Point guard Elmo Uitto (181-2) added 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. MuKi have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 9-2 record behind leader OBA. Sykki lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with eight games lost. MuKi will play against Kataja (#4) in Joensuu in the next round. Sykki's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Helsinki HNMKY.
