Regular Season Round 15: Bnei Hertzeliya - Hapoel H/M 84-83

Thirteenth-ranked Hapoel H/M (4-11) was very close to win a game against second ranked Bnei Hasharon (11-4) in Hod Hasharon on Tuesday. Bnei Hasharon managed to secure only one-point victory 84-83. However their fans expected much easier game. Bnei Hasharon looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a good game for American point guard Kendall Anthony (173-93, college: Richmond) who saved his team from a defeat with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 assists. His fellow American import forward Isaiah Eisendorf (198-96, college: LeMoyne) contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Bnei Hasharon players scored in double figures. Orel Levi (-96) answered with 26 points and 5 assists and Belarusian guard Roman Rubinshteyn (195-96, agency: Alti Sport) added 17 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Hapoel H/M. Bnei Hasharon maintains second place with 11-4 record behind leader Afula. Newly promoted Hapoel H/M keeps the thirteenth position with 11 games lost. Bnei Hasharon are looking forward to face Maccabi Raanana (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Hapoel H/M will play against Hasharon and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
