Very important is a road loss of third ranked Ibaraki R. (21-16) against fourth ranked Aomori W. (17-19) on Wednesday night. Visiting Ibaraki R. was defeated by Aomori W. in Aomori 87-75. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Ibaraki R.. Aomori W. looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. It was a very good performance for South Sudanese-American forward Angelo Chol (206-93, college: San Diego St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points, 13 rebounds and 8 assists. American Marcus Dove (206-85, college: Oklahoma St.) contributed with 23 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks for the winners. Four Aomori W. players scored in double figures. American power forward Alex Jones (206-87, college: Seattle) answered with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 15 rebounds (on 13-of-16 shooting from the field) and the other American import center Will Creekmore (205-89, college: Missouri St.) added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Ibaraki R.Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Aomori W. maintains fourth place with 17-19 record. Loser Ibaraki R. keeps the third position with 16 games lost. Aomori W. will face league's leader Shinshu BW in Nagano in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Ibaraki R. will play at home against Fukushima and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
