Very predictable result when third ranked Talje Knights (9-3) rolled over at home 9th ranked Wetterbygden 2 (3-10) 95-67 on Wednesday. Talje Knights forced 20 Wetterbygden 2 turnovers and outrebounded them 42-28 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Talje Knights looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a good game for guard Mihaljo Kvocka (188-99) who led his team to a victory with 26 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Point guard Mario Blazevic (180-93) contributed with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Four Talje Knights players scored in double figures. William Lightfoot answered with 22 points and 5 rebounds and guard Erik Juhlin (189-0) added 11 points in the effort for Wetterbygden 2. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Newly promoted Talje Knights maintains third place in South with 9-3 record having seven points less than leader KFUM Uppsala. Wetterbygden 2 lost their sixth game in a row. Wetterbygden 2 at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the eighth position with ten games lost. Talje Knights will face Hogland (#6) in the next round. Wetterbygden 2 will play against Huddinge and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
