Regular Season Round 9: UBI Graz - Kangoeroes 64-84

Bottom-ranked Austrian UBI Graz is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their sixth consecutive match to second ranked Belgian Kangoeroes (6-1) 84-64. Kangoeroes forced 21 UBI Graz turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists. The best player for the winners was American Jessica Lindstrom (185-96, college: Green Bay, agency: LBM Management) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 16 rebounds. Latvian Ance Aizsila (178-94, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 23 points. Four Kangoeroes players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Camilla Neumann (182-94) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and Laura Bischof (170-95) added 12 points and 4 assists respectively. Kangoeroes have a solid series of four victories in a row. They used an opportunity after Piestanske C. lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position in Group A. Defending Austrian champion UBI Graz still closes the standings with six games lost. Kangoeroes' next round opponent will be league's leader Piestanske C. in Piestany and it will be for sure the game of the week. UBI Graz will play on the road against Slovanka MB (#4) in Vodochody and hopes to get finally their first victory.
