Regular Season Round 22: Saint Vallier - CFBB 83-58

Bottom-ranked CFBB is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their 21th consecutive match to second ranked Saint Vallier (18-4) 83-58 on Friday evening. Saint Vallier looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a very good performance for American forward Demond Watt (200-89, college: Texas A&M-CC) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Croatian point guard Toni Prostran (182-91) contributed with 11 points and 7 assists for the winners. Five Saint Vallier players scored in double figures. Daniel Batcho (204-2) replied with 14 points and 7 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and center Ismael Kamagate (211-1) added 8 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for CFBB. CFBB's coach Jean-Aime Toupane gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Saint Vallier have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position in Group B with 18-4 record having just three point less than leader Angers. Loser CFBB still closes the standings with 21 games lost. Saint Vallier will face SOPCC (#3) in Pont de Cheruy in the next round, which may be the game of the day. CFBB will play at home against Orchesien BC (#7) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
