Another exciting game was again a derby between two teams from Nassau: Bahamas Univ. (#2) and Regulators (#4). Bahamas Univ. (10-2) won against visiting Regulators (4-8) 89-82. Strangely Regulators outrebounded Bahamas Univ. 55-37 including a 30-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Regulators were plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Robert Joseph (178, college: N.Okl.-Enid. JC) who led the winners and scored 27 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Rashad Sturrup accounted for 12 points and 15 rebounds for the winning side. Bahamas Univ.'s coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Alexander Rolle (-93) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and Australian forward Lloyd Bailey (193) added 20 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Regulators in the defeat. Bahamas Univ. have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain second place with 10-2 record behind leader Rockets. Regulators lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with eight games lost. Bahamas Univ.'s supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Nassau to the arena BIBT Great W..
