Regular Season Round 100: Milwaukee B. - Denver N. 115-127

Date: January 31, 2020
The most crucial game of the last day was a loss of Bucks (41-7) in Milwaukee. Hosts were defeated by Nuggets (35-14) 127-115. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Bucks. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Nuggets players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 10 blocks. The winners were led by Will Barton (198-91, college: Memphis) who scored that evening 24 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and Serbian center Nikola Jokic (209-95, agency: BeoBasket) supported him with 15 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists. Five Nuggets players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 31 points, 16 rebounds and 9 assists by Greek-Nigerian swingman Giannis Antetokounmpo (211-94, agency: Octagon Europe) did not help to save the game for Bucks. Forward Khris Middleton (203-91, college: Texas A&M) added 24 points and 9 assists for lost side. Bucks' coach tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Nuggets maintains first position with 35-14 record which they share with defeated Bucks. Bucks at the other side still keep top place with seven games lost.
