The game between closely ranked teams ended with thirteenth ranked Polonia Leszno's (7-12) home victory over 14th ranked Kotwica (4-15) 94-79. The best player for the winners was center Szymon Milczynski (204-93) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Hubert Pabian (201-89, agency: Promotex) chipped in a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds. Four Polonia Leszno players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized Canadian forward Nick Madray (206-94, college: Wagner) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds and Bartosz Wrobel (190-95, agency: Octagon Europe) added 17 points respectively. Polonia Leszno moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Pruszkow and Biofarm PZN. Kotwica at the other side keeps the fourteenth position with 15 games lost. Polonia Leszno's next round opponent will be higher ranked Pogon Prudnik (#8) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Kotwica will play against the league's leader Gornik (#1) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
