Regular Season Round 33: Aisin AW - Tokyo HT 99-95

Rather predictable result when third ranked Aisin AW (23-10) won against 5th ranked Tokyo HT (18-16) in Aichi 99-95. American Kyle Richardson (200-91, college: Portland St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 15 rebounds for the winners and point guard Yuki Ishihara (180-91) chipped in 24 points and 7 assists. The best for the losing side was American forward Lance Goulbourne (203-89, college: Vanderbilt) with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import center Shaquille Morris (203-94, college: Wichita St.) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds. Four Tokyo HT players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Aisin AW maintains third place with 23-10 record having just two points less than leader Iwate Big Bulls, which they share with Saga B. Tokyo HT at the other side dropped to the sixth position with 16 games lost. Aisin AW will again play against Tokyo HT (#6) at home in the next round. Tokyo HT will have a break next round.
