Very expected game when 14th ranked Roser (3-14) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Cornella (12-5) 78-68 on Saturday. Cornella outrebounded Roser 42-26 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was guard Xavi Guirao (190-87) who scored 27 points and 5 assists. Point guard Sergio Guardia (188-88) chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Albert Sulleva (196-89) who recorded 15 points and 9 rebounds and naturalized Andorra forward Alberto Farfan (193-91) added 15 points respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cornella have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place in Group C-B, which they share with Mollet. Roser lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fourteenth position with 14 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
