Very significant was Young Angels' (#3, 9-7) victory against one of their biggest challengers Samorin (5-11) 81-68. Young Angels made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Young Angels outrebounded Samorin 43-27 including 17 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Channon Fluker (193-97, college: CSUN) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 22 rebounds and the other American import guard Bria Goss (178-92, college: Kentucky) who added 14 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Young Angels players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international guard Timea Sujova (173-84) responded with 22 points and Simona Marcova (184-94) scored 22 points and 6 rebounds. Samorin's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Young Angels have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 9-7 record having seven points less than leader MBK Ruzomb. Samorin at the other side keeps the fourth place with 11 games lost. Young Angels are looking forward to face league's leader MBK Ruzomberok on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Samorin will play against Dubcek and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
