There was a minor upset in Morón de la Frontera where 7th ranked Moron (9-11) was defeated by ninth ranked Navarra (9-11) 86-70 on Saturday. Navarra forced 19 Moron turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of center Eduardo Hernandez-Sonseca (212-83) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 blocks and American-French forward Alexandre Doche (201-95, college: Huston-Tillotson) who added 19 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Five Navarra players scored in double figures. Guard Angel Vazquez (190-95) responded with 18 points and 5 rebounds and British Josh Steel (194-97, college: Duquesne) scored 16 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Navarra moved-up to seventh place in Silver. Navarra will face higher ranked Zamorano (#5) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Moron will play against Cocinas.com (#6) and hope to win that game.
