Top ranked La Spezia (13-3) recorded its third loss at the home court. Hosts were rolled over by third ranked Faenza (14-3) 71-52. It was a key game for the second position in A2. It was a great shooting night for Faenza especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 56.3 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Simona Ballardini (181-81) who helped to win the game recording 10 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Lucia Morsiani (186-92) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Four Faenza players scored in double figures. The former international power forward Silvia Sarni (190-87) answered with 12 points and 8 rebounds and forward Nene Diene (180-92) added 9 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for La Spezia. Faenza moved-up to second place in A2. La Spezia at the other side dropped to the third position with three games lost. Faenza will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. La Spezia will play against HS Lab and hopes to get back on the winning track.
