Regular Season Round 21: Brindisi - Milano 74-77

The biggest surprise of round 21 in Serie A was guest Armani Milano's (13-7) road victory over 4th placed Brindisi (12-8) 77-74 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Brindisi. Armani Milano made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American center Kaleb Tarczewski (213-93, college: Arizona) who scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Spanish point guard Sergio Rodriguez (191-86) chipped in 13 points. Four Armani Milano players scored in double figures. Armani Milano's coach Ettore Messina used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Tyler Stone (203-91, college: SEMO) who recorded 21 points and 9 rebounds and American-Israeli Adrian Banks (191-86, college: Arkansas St.) added 17 points and 5 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) respectively. Armani Milano moved-up to third place, which they share with Brescia. Brindisi at the other side dropped to the sixth position with eight games lost. Armani Milano is looking forward to face Vanoli Cremona (#17) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Brindisi will play against Pesaro (#18) and is hoping to win this game.
