No shocking result in a game in Zizur Mayor where fourth ranked Ardoi (11-6) defeated 11th ranked Solares (7-10) 86-75 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was point guard Nicolas Uriz (184-96) who scored 16 points. Guard Pope Urtasun (187-80) chipped in 11 points and 5 rebounds. Four Ardoi players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Giovanny Contreras (180-0) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds and naturalized Senegalese center Gana Ndiaye (208-88) added 23 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Solares' coach Asier Gordo rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Ardoi have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place in Group A-A, which they share with Arha Hoteles and Easo. Solares lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with ten games lost. Ardoi will face Easo (#4) in San Sebastian in the next round. Solares will play at home against Valle de Egues (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
