No shocking result in a game in Caceres where seventh ranked Cadi La Seu (9-10) defeated 12th ranked Al-Qazeres (6-13) 74-68 on Saturday. It was a great evening for American forward Tinara Moore (190-96, college: Cent Michigan) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Her fellow American import guard Sydney Wiese (185-95, college: Oregon St., agency: LBM Management) helped adding 22 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Cadi La Seu's coach Bernat Canut allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American guard Arica Carter (173-96, college: Louisville) responded with 18 points and 5 rebounds and the former international forward Paula Ginzo (187-98) scored 14 points. Five Al-Qazeres players scored in double figures. Cadi La Seu maintains seventh place with 9-10 record, which they share with Mann Filter and Clarinos. Loser Al-Qazeres dropped to the eleventh position with 13 games lost. They share it with Gipuzkoa UPV. Cadi La Seu will meet at home Mann Filter (#8) in the next round. Al-Qazeres will play against Valencia and hope to secure a win.
