The game between ninth ranked Brest (7-10) and 10th ranked RCOP Tsmoki (3-13) in Brest on Saturday ended with biggest points difference. Brest outscored guests from Minsk 91-67. The game without a history. Brest led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Brest outrebounded RCOP Tsmoki 50-33 including a 29-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. RCOP Tsmoki was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Anton Shchurko (188-97) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Power forward Dmitriy Shved (200-98) contributed with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Forward Nikita Lagun (195-1) replied with 19 points and swingman Aleksey Iudkin (190-3) added 14 points in the effort for RCOP Tsmoki. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Brest maintains ninth position with 7-10 record. RCOP Tsmoki lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with 13 games lost. Brest will have a break next round. RCOP Tsmoki's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Minsk to the arena RGUOR.
