Regular Season Round 20: Prat - Real Murcia 63-59

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Real Murcia (15-5) on the court of third ranked CB Prat on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by CB Prat 63-59. CB Prat forced 19 Real Murcia turnovers. Strangely Real Murcia outrebounded CB Prat 44-31 including 29 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Marc Sese (190-93) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and point guard Carles Marzo (190-92) who added 7 points and 5 assists during the contest. Nigerian forward Jeffrey Solarin (193-92, college: Idaho St.) responded with 14 points and 7 rebounds and Jamaican power forward Clint Robinson (203-94, college: UIC) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. CB Prat maintains third position in Silver with 14-6 record having just one point less than leader UBU Tizona. Real Murcia at the other side still keeps top place with five games lost. CB Prat are looking forward to face league's second-placed Girona Basquet at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Real Murcia will play against Menorca and is hoping to win this game.
