Bottom-ranked Nova Ves managed to get a sixth victory, breaking the series of two consecutive losses. This time they won against seventh-ranked Handlova 72-67. It was a great evening for Canadian guard Justus Alleyn (188-95, college: Manitoba) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 4 assists. American guard Eric Nottage (187-94, college: FIU, agency: YoungGroup Unlimited) helped adding 7 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Nottage is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The best for the losing side was Bosnian Aleksandar Radukic (206-91, agency: 011 Sports) with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 19 rebounds and American point guard Corey Allen-Jr (185-92, college: S.Florida) scored 17 points and 4 steals. Nova Ves (6-18) moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Rieker KN. Handlova lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 16 games lost. Nova Ves will play against higher ranked Zilina (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Handlova will have a break next round.
