Regular Season Round 14: Rudes - Bosco 77-83

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Zagreb: Bosco (#2) and Bulldogs (#7). Bulldogs were defeated at home 77-83 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Bulldogs. Swingman Luka Katura (194-89) had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and South Sudanese forward Makur Puou (206, college: New Orleans) chipped in 18 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. Guard Marko Juric (190-99) responded with 23 points and forward Hrvoje Garfolic (196-90) scored 19 points. Four Bulldogs players scored in double figures. Bulldogs' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Bosco maintains second position with 9-5 record having four points less than leader Jazine. Bulldogs at the other side dropped to the eighth place with seven games lost. Bosco are looking forward to face KK Dubrovnik (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Bulldogs will play against Pula 1981 and are hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
