Regular Season Round 20: Puente Alto - Temuco 63-74

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Puente Alto (20-9) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by fifth ranked Temuco (13-15) 74-63. It ended at the same time the 15-game winning streak of Puente Alto. Temuco forced 23 Puente Alto turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Kenny Wormley (193-96, college: Hofstra) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import swingman Alssene Saintilus (201-93, college: Bloomsburg) who added 16 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Temuco players scored in double figures. American forward Corbin Jackson (198-92, college: Florida Tech) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and Argentinian forward Nicholas Wadell (201-89) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Temuco moved-up to fourth place. Puente Alto at the other side still keeps top position with nine games lost. Temuco are looking forward to face CD Puerto Varas (#6) at home in the next round. Puente Alto will play against the league's leader Las Animas (#1) in Valdivia and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
