Regular Season Round 38: Sendai 89ers - Kumamoto V. 89-65

Everything went according to plan when first ranked Sendai 89ers (28-10) outscored at home 5th ranked Kumamoto V. (14-24) 89-65 on Saturday. Sendai 89ers dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Kumamoto V.'s 18. Sendai 89ers forced 20 Kumamoto V. turnovers and outrebounded them 43-30 including 32 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American Eric Jacobsen (208-94, college: ASU) had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import center Daniel Miller (211-91, college: Georgia Tech) chipped in 11 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest.
