No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked CCC Polkowice (10-6) smashed at home 8th ranked Politechnika Gdanska (6-10) 100-64. CCC Polkowice dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Politechnika Gdanska's 30. CCC Polkowice forced 20 Politechnika Gdanska turnovers and outrebounded them 32-13 including a 23-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. CCC Polkowice players were unselfish on offense dishing 37 assists comparing to just 19 passes made by Politechnika Gdanska's players. The winners were led by the former international point guard Weronika Gajda (174-89) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 17 points, 5 rebounds, 10 assists and 5 steals and Greek forward Artemis Spanou (187-93, college: RMU) supported her with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Five CCC Polkowice players scored in double figures. Even 13 points and 5 assists (made all of her eight free throws) by American guard Presley Hudson (168-97, college: Cent Michigan, agency: Two Points) did not help to save the game for Politechnika Gdanska. French Alice Nayo (186-93) added 10 points for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Sleza Wroclaw. Politechnika Gdanska lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with ten games lost. CCC Polkowice's next round opponent will be Wisla Krakow (#7) on the road.
