Very predictable result when second ranked Bnei Hasharon (12-4) defeated on the road 10th ranked Maccabi Raanana (6-10) 104-90 on Sunday. Bnei Hasharon made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 53.3 percentage. Bnei Hasharon looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Orr Leumi (192-96) who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and American Jakim Donaldson (204-83, college: Edinboro, agency: Inception Sports) who added 20 points and 11 rebounds during the contest (made all of his seven free throws). Four Bnei Hasharon players scored in double figures. At the losing side American Tyler Wideman (203-95, college: Butler) responded with 17 points and 6 rebounds and Yair Kravits (193-99) scored 8 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bnei Hasharon have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 12-4 record having just one point less than leader Afula. Loser Maccabi Raanana keeps the tenth place with ten games lost. Bnei Hasharon will face H.Haifa (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Maccabi Raanana will play against Hasharon (#7) in Hod Hasharon and hope to win that game.
