Regular Season Round 19: KFUM Fryshuset - Hogsbo 83-89

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked KFUM Fryshuset (17-3) in Stockholm on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by third ranked Hogsbo (13-4) 89-83. It ended at the same time the 17-game winning streak of KFUM Fryshuset. KFUM Fryshuset was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 23-14 charge of Hogsbo, which allowed them to win the game. 27 personal fouls committed by KFUM Fryshuset helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for Croatian forward Toni Vitali (203-91) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Emil Lundstedt (175-94) helped adding 21 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side Serbian point guard Aleksa Solevic (188-93, agency: Dynamics Global Management) responded with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and point guard Basem Abdulkader (180-94) scored 22 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. KFUM Fryshuset's coach Marko Milatovic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Hogsbo maintains third place with 13-4 record having seven points less than leader KFUM Fryshuset. KFUM Fryshuset at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. Hogsbo are looking forward to face Team4Q (#7) in Helsingborg in the next round. KFUM Fryshuset's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Stockholm Alvik Basket.
