Regular Season Round 18: Castelldefels - Palma 2 81-70

Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked Castelldefels (10-7) won against at home 13th ranked Palma 2 (3-14) 81-70 on Sunday. They outrebounded Palma 2 33-22 including 22 on the defensive glass. Castelldefels looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Eric Manes (194-87) who scored 22 points and 7 assists. Forward Isaac Mayo (195-1) chipped in 18 points and 9 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Castelldefels' coach Raul Martinez used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Sergi Huguet (-2) who recorded 21 points and guard Joan Feliu (185-99) added 16 points respectively. Castelldefels have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place in Group C-B, which they share with Valls Nutrion. Palma 2 lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with 14 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
