Rather expected game when 11th ranked Latina Basket (9-12) lost to ninth ranked Blu Basket TVG (11-10) in Treviglio 65-69 on Sunday. Latina Basket was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American guard Corban Collins (190-94, college: Alabama) who led his team to a victory with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Center Jacopo Borra (215-90, agency: Interperformances) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Four Blu Basket TVG players scored in double figures. Point guard Riccardo Bolpin (197-97) answered with 20 points and 5 rebounds and center Andrea Ancellotti (212-88) added 12 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Latina Basket. Blu Basket TVG moved-up to seventh place in A2. Loser Latina Basket keeps the eleventh position with 12 games lost. Blu Basket TVG will face higher ranked Edilnol Bl (#4) in Biella in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Latina Basket will play on the road against Eurobasket RO (#12) in Roma and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
