Very expected game when 9th ranked A.Costa IM (10-11) lost to fourth ranked Tezenis VER (12-9) in Verona 70-87 on Sunday. Tezenis VER outrebounded A.Costa IM 34-23 including 25 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by A.Costa IM's players. It was a good game for the former international swingman Guido Rosselli (198-83) who led his team to a victory with 7 points, 8 rebounds and 14 assists. The former international power forward Francesco Candussi (211-94) contributed with 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Tezenis VER players scored in double figures. Tezenis VER will face higher ranked Kleb Ferrara (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. A.Costa IM will play against GSA Udine (#6) and hope to win that game.
