Regular Season Round 102: Detroit P. - Denver N. 128-123

Top ranked Nuggets (35-15) recorded its fifteenth loss in Detroit on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by fourth ranked Pistons (18-32) 128-123. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Nuggets. Pistons looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists. The best player for the winners was center Andre Drummond (208-93, college: UConn) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Bruce Brown (196-96, college: Miami, FL) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Serbian center Nikola Jokic (209-95, agency: BeoBasket) who recorded a triple-double by scoring 39 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 11 assists and Will Barton (198-91, college: Memphis) added 20 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Pistons maintains fourth position with 18-32 record. Nuggets at the other side still keep top place with 15 games lost. Pistons are looking forward to face higher ranked Grizzlies (#3) in Memphis in the next day and it may be the game of the week. Nuggets will have a break next day.
