An interesting game for Pinelands (3-0) which played road game in against Bridgetown (2-2). Pinelands managed to get a 6-point victory 80-74. Pinelands forced 21 Bridgetown turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Pinelands made 7 blocks. It was a good game for the former international forward Ryan Maynard (-75) who led his team to a victory with 24 points. Guard Derion Hurley contributed with 7 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. D Knight answered with 20 points and 9 rebounds and center Joel Hunte added 10 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Bridgetown. Four Bridgetown players scored in double figures. Bridgetown's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Pinelands are looking forward to face Warriors (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Bridgetown will play against Celtics and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
