Regular Season Round 3: Tridents - Warriors 113-90

No shocking result in a game when Tridents (3-1) crushed at home Warriors (0-3) 113-90 on Sunday. Tridents forced 32 Warriors turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American power forward Kwame Alexander (201-90, college: CS San Bernar.) who led the winners and scored 30 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 8 steals. Canadian point guard Santiago Maynard (173) accounted for 18 points and 8 assists for the winning side. Tridents' coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Nicholia Williams came up with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 15 rebounds and forward Tyrone Alexander added 20 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for Warriors in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Tridents will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Warriors will play against Pinelands (#2) and hope to get finally their first victory.
