Leader DCU Mercy delivered the twelfth victory. This time they beat 9th ranked IT Carlow (1-12) 73-59 in Dublin. American forward Kaitlyn Slagus (188-97, college: Bucknell) answered with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 18 rebounds and 4 blocks and the other American import guard Alyssa Velles (178, college: St.Peter's) added 18 points and 5 assists in the effort for IT Carlow. DCU Mercy (12-1) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place. IT Carlow lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 12 games lost. DCU Mercy will play against Fr.Mathews (#6) in Cork in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
