The most exciting game of round 20 in the Liga Endesa took place in Madrid. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of second-ranked Real Madrid (15-5) to thirteenth ranked Joventut (9-11) 86-83 on Sunday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the home team. The best player for the winners was Slovenian guard Klemen Prepelic (191-92) who scored 22 points. American guard Tony Wroten (198-93, college: Washington) chipped in 13 points and 5 assists. Argentinian Gabriel Deck (198-95) produced 14 points and 4 assists and American-Slovenian Anthony Randolph (211-89, college: LSU) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Joventut moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Baskonia and Obradoiro. Defending champion Real Madrid keeps the second position with five games lost. They share it with Zaragoza. Joventut is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Baloncesto Fuenlabrada (#18) in Madrid in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Real Madrid will play at home against Real Betis (#16) and is hoping to win this game.
