Bottom-ranked Hasharon managed to get a third victory, breaking the five-game losing streak on Sunday night. This time newly promoted Hasharon edged eleventh-ranked Netanya in Ramat Hasharon 85-83. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Netanya. Americans were the main players on the court. Guard Dorian Pinson (196-96, college: Lincoln Memorial) fired a double-double by scoring 30 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Forward Tyrell Nelson (201-95, college: Gardner-Webb) chipped in a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds. Forward Bryce Washington (198-96, college: La-Lafayette) produced 23 points and 9 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and guard Rashad Madden (196-92, college: Arkansas) added 15 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Netanya players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Newly promoted Hasharon maintains fourteenth position with 3-13 record. Loser Netanya dropped to the tenth place with ten games lost. They share the position with H.Ramat Gan and Raanana. Hasharon will meet higher ranked Ironi Kiryat Ata (#6) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Netanya will play against H.Ramat Gan (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
