Not a big story in a game in Esfahan where 9th ranked Zob Ahan (9-15) was defeated by fourth ranked Chemidor (17-5) 78-61. International Mohammad Jamshidi (199-91) nailed 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and the former international point guard Aren Davoudichegani (185-86) accounted for 11 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Chemidor players scored in double figures. The former international forward Sajjad Pazrofteh (188-96) came up with 4 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists and French guard Jonathan Dogbo (193-91, college: Gannon, agency: Interperformances) added 19 points respectively for Zob Ahan in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Chemidor. They maintain fourth place with 17-5 record. Zob Ahan at the other side keeps the ninth position with 15 games lost. Chemidor will play against higher ranked Naft Abadan (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Zob Ahan will have a break next round.
