No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Saint Chamond (11-7) defeated on the road bottom-ranked Poitiers (2-16) 78-63 on Tuesday. The best player for the winners was Croatian forward Jure Skific (202-88, agency: 011 Sports) who scored 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Cuban power forward Grismay Paumier (205-88) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. Five Saint Chamond players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Bathiste Tchouaffe (196-98) who recorded 18 points and power forward Mickael Var (205-90) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Saint Chamond moved-up to fourth place. Loser Poitiers stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost. Saint Chamond will face Souffelweyersheim (#7) at home in the next round. Poitiers will play against Denain Voltaire (#10) and hope to win that game.
