Regular Season Round 23: Rueil - GET Vosges 112-79

Very predictable result when fourth ranked Rueil (16-7) smashed at home 9th ranked GET Vosges (10-12) 112-79 on Tuesday. Rueil shot 61.1 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. Rueil looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by GET Vosges' players. It was a great evening for Bosnian center Nemanja Kovanusic (204-93, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds. American forward Gregg Thondique (201-87, college: Virginia Union, agency: Interperformances) helped adding 18 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Meven Le-Douarin (194-98) responded with 20 points and 6 rebounds and guard Bradley Jomard (198-96, college: MIT, agency: Duran International) scored 13 points and 4 assists. Four Rueil and five GET Vosges players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Rueil have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fourth place in Group B with 16-7 record. GET Vosges lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with 12 games lost. Rueil will face league's leader C'Chartres on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. GET Vosges will play against the league's second-placed Saint Vallier (#2) and hope to win that game.
