The game in Nokia was quite interesting. Fifth ranked Pyrinto (17-13) played at the court of 7th ranked BC Nokia (13-17). Pyrinto managed to secure a 4-point victory 97-93 on Wednesday. The guests trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 53-48 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Pyrinto made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Pyrinto outrebounded BC Nokia 41-27 including 27 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Benjamin Raymond (198-87, college: Xavier) who helped to win the game recording 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Four BC Nokia players scored in double figures. Pyrinto moved-up to fourth place, which they share with KTP Basket. BC Nokia lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with 17 games lost. Pyrinto is looking forward to face league's second-placed Vilpas in Salo in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. BC Nokia will play on the road against Korihait (#12) in Uusikaupunki and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
