Regular Season Round 22: Edilnol Bl - Blu Basket TVG 78-79

A very interesting game took place in Biella. It ended with only one-point home defeat of 4th ranked Edilnol Bl (13-9) to seventh ranked Blu Basket TVG (12-10) 79-78 on Wednesday evening. Blu Basket TVG made 16-of-16 charity shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Corban Collins (190-94, college: Alabama) who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws). Mattia Palumbo (196-0) contributed with 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Five Blu Basket TVG players scored in double figures. The former international point guard Lorenzo Saccaggi (189-92, agency: Interperformances) replied with 26 points and American forward Ed Polite-Jr (196-97, college: Radford) added 10 points and 14 rebounds in the effort for Edilnol Bl. Blu Basket TVG maintains seventh position in A2 with 12-10 record. Edilnol Bl at the other side keeps the fourth place with nine games lost. Blu Basket TVG's next round opponent will be Orlandina CdO (#13) in Capo d'Orlando where they are favorite. Edilnol Bl will play on the road against Bergamo Bsk (#14) and hope to win that game.
