Regular Season Round 105: Utah Jazz - Denver N. 95-98

Second-ranked Jazz (31-19) used its home court advantage to challenge first ranked Nuggets (37-15) in Salt Lake City on Wednesday. The visitors from Denver managed to secure only three-point victory 98-95. However their fans expected easier game. Nuggets dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Jazz's 44. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Serbian center Nikola Jokic (209-95, agency: BeoBasket) nailed a triple-double by scoring 30 points, 21 rebounds and 10 assists for the winning side and Canadian swingman Jamal Murray (198-97, college: Kentucky) accounted for 31 points and 4 assists. Point guard Mike Conley (185-87, college: Ohio St.) came up with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and French center Rudy Gobert (216-92) added 16 points and 14 rebounds respectively for Jazz in the defeat. Five Jazz players scored in double figures. Nuggets maintains first place with 37-15 record. Jazz lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the second position with 19 games lost.
