Regular Season Round 105: LA Clippers - Miami Heat 128-111

The most crucial game of the last day was a loss of top-ranked Heat (34-16) in Los Angeles on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by second ranked Clippers (36-14) 128-111. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Heat. Clippers looked well-organized offensively handing out 35 assists. It was a good game for swingman Paul George (206-90, college: Fresno St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. Forward Kawhi Leonard (201-91, college: San Diego St.) contributed with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Bam Adebayo (208-97, college: Kentucky) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Derrick Jones-Jr (201-97, college: UNLV) added 25 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) in the effort for Heat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Clippers have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 36-14 record behind leader Toronto R. Heat at the other side still keeps top position with 16 games lost.
