Regular Season Round 15: Wetterbygden 2 - Hogland 88-85

There was an upset when 4th placed Hogland (6-4) was edged by ninth ranked Wetterbygden 2 (3-10) in Huskvarna 88-85 on Wednesday. Wetterbygden 2 made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. It was a good game for Bosnian forward Kemal Omerbasic (201-92) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 5 rebounds. Alfred Rehn contributed with 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Wetterbygden 2 players scored in double figures. Center Erik Kall (208-1) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 19 rebounds and forward Joel Ekenstierna (193-1) added 17 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Hogland. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Wetterbygden 2 moved-up to eighth place in South, which they share with KFUM Fry. 2. Hogland at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. Wetterbygden 2 will face Huddinge (#10) on the road in the next round.
